BLOOD ALCOHOL CONTENT CALCULATOR

Drinking & driving is irresponsible. Most states set legal limits at 0.08 or 0.10 Blood Alcohol Level. These are the maximum verifiable levels your Blood Alcohol Content (BAC); can be before you face penalties, such as driver's license revocation, fine or imprisonment. BAC is determined  using a formula containing these four factors:

  • ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONSUMED
  • WEIGHT IN POUNDS
  • NUMBER OF DRINKS CONSUMED
  • TIME PERIOD IN HOURS SPENT DRINKING

This calculator provides helpful information, but is not perfect. It should NOT be used to gauge life and death decisions to drive. Use it to experiment with a few variables to determine acceptable levels to stay within while you are drinking.  It is recommended that you NOT drink when driving. If you must, stay well below the limits provided by this table. At NO time drive while intoxicated!

IMPORTANT: Make sure to select a beverage to get correct results.
